Autumn is fabulous, so bad it’s going to be soon over. Winter is coming – let’s enjoy the sunshine as long as possible. Thank heavens for the gorgeous sunny day we’ve had today. And yesterday’s too – I took some photos during my bike rides.

old Hangzhou

So here it is – Hangzhou in black and white photos… Hangzhou has been my 2nd hometown for over 5 years and I’m still delighted and thrilled to live here. It’s gorgeous, romantic, magnificent and peaceful. Just have a look.

Warsaw in old photographs

I usually don’t write much about other places than China (after all I live here, so I shouldn’t bother about elsewhere, right?), but today I’ve found beautiful photos showing Warsaw, my country’s capital, in old photos. They are from the turn of the 20th century when Warsaw was still under Russian rule.

Great views! Maybe someday I can find old photos of my lovely Hangzhou?

no more debts

Today I’m thinking about getting older. I’m about to turn 30 next week, it’s a pretty important birthday, isn’t it? Will anything change after that? Well, I don’t really think so, but there is a kind of a social pressure towards people over that age. Not, that I care about that, it makes me laugh; however it also makes me think about these 3 decades I have lived through.Interesting to mention, few days ago I got a letter from my bank telling me that I have finally paid off my student loan. Wow, I applied for it when I was in university (about 8-9 years ago), few months later I started getting money, I started paying it back 2 years after graduation… and now it’s done! Good job! I’m proud of myself, as I didn’t ask anyone for help during that time. I guess that proves I’m a man on my own!
Paying it off means that I can start another chapter of my life which should be called: no more debts! Time to celebrate!

unforgettable visit

And still I have many photos to show. Too many.. but just to let you know what we have been doing. It was the unforgettable visit, I’ve got beautiful memories and a lot of personal satisfaction. They did it! They’ve survived! They enjoyed it!

Is anyone surprised? Jay Chou’s new album is out, I’ve been listening to it everyday ever since – and he has topped my chart with the title track. What’s more: he’s debuting with his new single at #13! What else has left to achieve? Ha, my favourite singer! My idol! The best of the best!
