柴米油盐酱醋茶

Yesterday I bought Leehom’s (王力宏) new album. It’s called "十八般武艺" ("The 18 Martial Arts") and it was preceded with the single "柴米油盐酱醋茶" ("Firewood, Rice, Oil, Salt, Sauce, Vinegar, Tea") – which topped my list of favourite songs this week! Good job, 王力宏!
And a great cover! Wow!

Can it be any higher? 40, 41, 42… It’s the final countdown! Oh, sorry, count-up. My brain refuses to work properly. All I want to do is to stay in a room equipped with the air-conditioner. What if there’s no such room? What if I have to go out? Prepare. Equip yourself with a cap, sunglasses, catch a taxi, try to find a air-conditioned bus.
Yeah, yeah. Easy to say. These days are the hottest in a year, really hard to live. Life is becoming a struggle. Every breath resembles the torture. It’s like breathing with your face next to the oven – or even in the oven.
