going here, going there

Going here, going there. I haven’t written anything serious here for a long time, it’s time to put some news.
I supposed to go to Huzhou to have a dinner with Allen, one of my suppliers, but apparently we can’t agree for the time when we are both free. I still hope to go there.
I was in Shanghai yesterday. I went there alone – I had an apointment with a consul and picked up my new passport. Gosh, I was waiting for over an hour!! I found out that many Chinese people were standing in a long queue to apply for Polish visas. I guess we’re changing some rules… or maybe Poland is becoming an interesting place to visit. Who knows.
After that I had a business meeting. I was told that it supposed to be near to the consulate but I forgot that in Shanghai "near" didn’t mean the same as in Hangzhou. It took about 30 minutes by taxi, going really fast on the highway. The meeting was short and quite nice. I left some samples in that company, and I also got some new ones…
I met Harry in the afternoon. That was a nice surprise to see him in Shanghai again. Oh, he is always very helpful and sweet. He suggested that he would go back to Hangzhou with me. I felt relief as I still have some fears about buying tickets by myself. The truth is nobody understands my poor Chinese.
I got older last Saturday. Yes, there was my birthday. Nothing special, really. The older I am, the less I’m excited about it. I had a nice dinner, though. I also got some nice gifts from friends: a book with Chinese poetry from Daisy, a Picasso pen from Mike, a cat-shaped money-box from Oliver…
My computer broke. Actually not a computer itself – but a small part from the cable to the loudspeakers stuck inside and couldn’t be got out. Grrr.. it’ll cost me over 600 RMB, as the whole part for loudspeaker should be removed and changed. I eve thought that people from customer service simply want to just get my money. Really, the thing didn’t look so srious to repair. Well, but I didn’t know how to do it. A lack of skills also costs.
The winter is coming. It’s got so cold recently, I even bought a warm jacket. I’m thinking about wearing scarf and gloves. The freezing wind is the worst. So please take care drink some hot tea. A tea with lemon would be the most highly appreciated.

jigsaw falling into place

Jigsaw falling into place…
It’s so exciting song by RADIOHEAD. Awesome! They are marvellous!
Oh, I forgot. They are totally un-understandable in China. Totally different taste of music.
Anyway, don’t care. Back to listening.

Jigsaw falling into place
There is nothing to explain
Regard each other as you pass
She looks back, you look back
Not just once
Not just twice
Wish away the nightmare
Wish away the nightmare
You’ve got a light you can feel it on your back
You’ve got a light you can feel it on your back
Jigsaws falling into place

ingenting

Nothing special to write. Let the music speak.

meadow

There are times when I’m better, there are times when I’m worse. Tired but satisfied, exhausted but fulfilled. Life is like a sine wave. Above zero, below zero, above, below, above, below…
My poor memory worries me a bit. It’s poorer when thinking about daily life, it’s quite good when thinking about general things. Is long sleep an antidote for troubles? I’m trying but constant anxiety doesn’t leave my mind. There’s always something… Even if there’s a beautiful meadow, the sky is cloudy and beginning to rain. Life.

hljomaliind

Please listen to Icelandic band called Sigur Ros. Their music is just pure beauty. I love it; I also know that it’s a little bit strange so I can understand if some people don’t accept it.
Jay Chou (周杰伦) has released his new CD
"我很忙". Of course I have it! It’s brilliant! So exciting moment to listen to it for the first time. Jay says "我很忙" ("I’m very busy") – it’s the same as me… We have something in common! Anioł

豫圆

Last Friday I went to Shanghai. My
passport is due to expire very soon, thus I need to change it. It’s not
a big problem, just to go to Poland’s consulate – luckily Shanghai is
not far from Hangzhou. Yes, of course there’s no consulate in Hangzhou.
I went there with Harry, who is always very helpful. With him
everything is so easy. Easy to get tickets, easy to find a way, easy to
get to the consulate. I bet it would have been easy if I had gone there
alone, but at least I have been saved much stress. We also went to
Yuyuan (豫圆) – nice park in a city centre. My god, so many people offering
fake things to buy ("watch, watch, bags, bags!"); it was even difficult to pass them! It’s a pity that the weather got colder and my hands were immediately freezing.
I have to go to the consulate again in 2 weeks time. Travelling is good. It’s a core of my being.

is there anybody out there?

Is there…
Is there anybody…
Is there anybody OUT THERE?
Is there anybody IN THERE…
Welcome to the new month. Cold. Getting colder, getting older.
