again in Hong Kong

Short stop in Hong Kong. As I predicted, we had big problems with our flight, due to the heavy rainfall. Almost all the flights have been delayed and nobody knew how long it would take for us to take off. Well, it was 2 hours behind the schedule, so we arrived at Hong Kong late at night.

Hong Kong is always delightful. It was hot when we landed, we kind of lost the way to the hotel in Causeway Bay, but it doesn’t really matter. We visited Ocean Park, then in the evening we went to Tsim Sha Tsui – I bought some CDs – and then there was the highlight! – dinner with Ricky! I love him, he’s my best friend ever!

I must mention the breakfasts in our resort. Delicious! Plenty! Everyday we wanted to choose so many dishes that we couldn’t finish all of them!

And what’s more important: I’ve made a new friend! With a waiter! His name is also Chris, that’s why he drew my attention, that was a great starter of our conversation. And he’s just very cute. I hope we can keep in touch even after I leave.

It’s raining heavily. Really, really heavily, so I’m quite worried about our flight. Will our plane take off? Let’s see… going to the airport now! Goodbye, beach, see you next time.

Sunset #3

The last sunset in Kota Kinabalu and the most beautiful. The sea was so calm, the sky was so clear, the sun was so perfect. Ha, we had some jumping! A lot of fun! And I can jump really high!

No need to say more, let the pictures speak for themselves. The weather is changing, the tropical rain is coming.

It’s almost time to go. It’s time to leave Malaysia. It’s been an awesome experience to be here again.

And instead of staying at the hotel room (like Calvin and Jill), I took another walk on the beach – but this time towards the east. I spotted some flowers, I’m a big fan of colours, and yellow has always been my favourite. I’ve also seen the mountain, probably Kinabalu Mountain! Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to climb it. And it’s been too hot, so actually it’s only the question of our laziness.

What do you think of lizards? Are they scary? Maybe you think they are disgusting?

Not for me. I think they are just fascinating. No, I don’t mean to raise one as a pet, but to look at them is great. There is a sort of magnificence in the way they move. And look at their skin! Piece of art, no doubts about that.

Sunset #2.

July 8th, 2012. Kota Kinabalu. I went to the town by myself, I had dinner. I didn’t want to stay at the hotel, like Calvin and Jill did. It was worth, because I witnessed one of the most beautiful, amazing, stunning sunsets in my life! What colours!!

We planned to have a nature walk in the jungle, but it turned out impossible, because Jill hasn’t taken appropriate shoes. There might be some snakes or spiders on the ground, so we needed good shoes.

Well, instead of that, we went to the beach. At first with Calvin, later with Jill. So hot! And still beautiful!

We also had some Coke in the beach bar, which at that time was totally empty. No problem for us, we don’t need other people around us. We’re having a great fun just with each other.

June 6th, 2012. Kota Kinabalu. What a wonderful evening. Only if my skin wasn’t so red! Well, apparently I spent too much time at the beach, playing with water. Got sun-burnt. God, how red can I be! But the sunset is truly lovely. Nature is incredible.
