elections

Today
there are parliament elections in Poland. I’m going to go although even
now I don’t know whom will I choose. Well, I know which party but not
the exact person. Big improvisation in front of the ballot-box?
In 2 weeks time we’re having another elections – presidential. This is
a year of changes in Poland, I tell you!! And especially for me…
Poland is changing together with me; can you call it "megalomania"??
Many people don’t take part in elections, it’s more than a half of
possible voters! I take part because for me it’s a kind of taking care
of my country. Yes, maybe I’m an idealist but I want to believe that my
vote counts.
On Thursday I organized my first party in my new flat. Quite nice event, I have to say …
but only for people who could come to Toruń that day. Now I’m waiting
for my friends from my hometown to visit me – perhaps it will be easier
in October when holidays are off? But after graduation all of us are so
busy! Yeah, you can call it "adultness" .

magic

Yes,
it was one of those magic evenings you remember for a long time. I
spent it with Adrian, this time we were without his Asia… maybe
because of that it was different? We talked a lot, A LOT!!! Special
evening – with my best friend. Many people don’t know what friendship
is; I am lucky that I have a friend like Adrian!
And the weather is so calm. No wind, only autumn which so far can be
seen in yellow leaves (here and there) and felt in the evenings and
mornings which are really cool.
Magic…! I can’t explain exactly how it feels, …’cause it’s magic !

last week

Last week was full of changes.
I moved into the new flat. It’s bigger, more convenient, and there is a
big bathroom there!!! I live with a couple – Ania and Andrzej, very
nice people who don’t disturb … And it took only 3 buses to move in with all my stuff. But I was so exhausted…
I moved to another office, and now I’m working together with
accounters. It’s better for me because there is nicer when you’re with
people, not alone with your computer.
I’m still reading "Lord of the Rings". Only when I have time I read.
But still a lot is before me. And it’s good! It’s a fantastic story!
I’m listening to some favourite artists… For now the best are Daniel
Powter, Nightwish and James Blunt. They are in the hitlist and they
are nice background for reading.
Yesterday I had a meeting (date?) with Ania – but not the one I live with. Ania lives in my hometown, yesterday we ate pizza , talked a lot… I met even her Mum, she’s terrific! And so is Ania .
Today I’m going to see Adrian and Asia. So long I haven’t seen them!
They will visit me in Toruń very soon. After all they have never been
at my place! Actually none of my friends from Solec have!! Guys, it’s
not so far away! You’re all welcome !
I can drive a car! Last week I had first practice lessons of driving
and I even drove in the city center! Wow, I could manage!! And I like
it! As soon I get the driving license, I’m buying a car !!

It’s
almost half of September and the weather still reminds us of summer.
There hasn’t been so hot in September for a very long time! (I don’t
remember…). 30 degrees?? And sunny all the time? Actually it’s good
but mornings and evenings are rather cool… so there is a problem what
to wear !
There is also hot at work. No time to rest or chill out when comes the
big shipment from China!! God, 180 cartons were delivered to Poland!
All had to be counted and seen if everything’s alright… Lucky us, it
was alright!!
Soon I’m ending my trial term in the company… Actually, I worry a
little if I got this job for a longer time. I would like to stay
there!! But sometimes it’s hard to follow the boss…
I’m going to change my flat. Yes, I’m looking for a nice place where I
could take my computer with myself… Maybe I’ll succeed, on Monday I’m
going to see the first flat!

busy week

This
was a busy week. Finally I decided to gain a driving license thus I’ve
been going to school (although there supposed to be no school anymore
in my life!) where they teach how to drive. So far we had only theory,
the practice lessons will be in about a week. And then I’ll be able to
give more details!
My friend from studies, Ania (this is a special name for me, because
some girls of that name were very close to me!) invited me to her best
friend’s wedding. We went there yesterday and – guess what – it was
fantastic! We were dancing and I have to tall you that I love dancing!
And Ania is a great dancer, I could say "private dancer" ’cause sha was
dancing only with me .
At work it’s alright. Actually I have to mention that thanks to work I
have two new foreign friends! Our co-operants from China asked me if I
have msn messenger, because it is easier to transmit information…
I’ve never thought that we could organize something through messenger!!
But it works! And the new friends are Jane and Calvin… Best regards
