I passed!!

Yeah, yeah, yeah! I passed the last exam of my studies! This was history of economic thought and we were writing it on Saturday… today we got results. Mine wasn’t too good , but you know – what really counts is that I passed and… NO MORE EXAMS!!

Now I will only have to answer on some questions concerning my master thesis – it will be hopefully in a month.

It was extremely hot recently. I don’t really like when it’s about 30 degrees and your skin is burning and there is nothing to breathe… but today it got cooler.

Yesterday was beautiful day. We gathered at Agnieszka’s garden to eat some sausages and to spend nice time. Nice! We had pie (made by my Mum and bought by Agnieszka), sausages (everybody had), salads (delicious! – Aga, gorgeous!) and drinks. Unfortunately 3 girls (Ania, Ania & Mirela) and Rafał had to leave early because of their duties (yes, yes!)… Unfortunately because later we were chatting all the time (for example about old good times in highschool)! Ewa and Wera were talking the most. We sat there untill night. And the moon was shining so strong!   Then it got cold and finally we went home.

Great afternoon, great evening. The next grill-party is to be at Rafał’s garden.

busy time

I’m finnishing writing my master thesis. Only introduction and small improvements are missing. Apart this I’m learning… God, I hate doing many important things in one time!! I have exam in a week and many pages to read and remember! And the weather doesn’t help me, it’s beautiful and I have no will at all to sit at home. But today afternoon I’m spending with my friends – we are preparing good food (grilling!!) in Agnieszka’s garden. I hope there will be camera so I will put some pictures here! I think it’s time to buy my own camera… OK, back to the history of economic thought – lots of reading!

Dziób-Dziób

Today I realised that I have exam very soon! At the end of May! It will be the last exam in my studies: history of economic thought… Why is it in the end of studies and not at the beginning? What do I need it for?? This is only unnessesary stress and effort. I’m starting to learn tomorrow.

Bad mood today . That’s why I’m singing childlike song "Dziób-Dziób". Sorry, only in Polish! "… a kto widział Dziób-Dzióba / jak wygląda Dziób-Dziób / komu w koncu się uda odpowiedzieć jak z nut / czy to fruwa czy lata / czy ma dzioba czy dziób / czy ktoś widział Dziób-Dzióba / gdzie się schował Dziób-Dziób?"

It’s cold! And almost everyday it’s raining ! We already have the second half of May and still the temperature is around only 15 degrees… at least everywhere is green !

French team in Poland

These few days with French team (Marion, Renaud & Nicholas) and Polish band (Sylwia, Rafał & Filip) were so great!! I will write some sentences, of course it’s impossible to describe all .

Tuesday: I met the French in front of Palace of Culture. How did they know how to get there? They looked the same as in Rovaniemi!! Then we saw Sylwia, we went to her place… Big surprise was when we turned on TV. "Pascal Express"! This is programme hosted by French guy speaking Polish. Marion, Nicholas & Renaud were laughing because he sounded French but they didn’t understand it at all!

We went to the Old Town to eat some Polish food. Delicious dumplings! In the evening… party – first at home, then in "Indeks" and "Underground".

Wednesday: in the morning I had to see Aneta because Sylwia and Filip (her friend) had to go to work. Getting up at 8 a.m. after party wasn’t too good idea …. when I arrived to Aneta’s place I fell asleep immediately! With guys I met in the afternoon. First we sat in SGH (the best school of economics… unfortunately not mine), then we went to Library of Warsaw University. But not for reading books – you can also have beer there and sit and chill… In the evening – party!

Thursday: again we had to get up early because we had a train at 10 a.m. Yes, I mean us because Renaud, Nicholas and Marion decided to visit Torun (city where I study). That was great idea!! Together with Gosia (another girl from Poland whom we met in Rovaniemi) we booked a room for the French… We were sightseeing the Old Town, eating something (the best were pancakes with meat or sweet friuts!). They also saw our university. I think they liked Torun, my hometown . Aaaah… no parties in the evening because they had to be in the room before 10 p.m. (this was Pilgrim’s House).

Friday: and so they left… in Warsaw they wanted to see the concert of Polish rock band. But earlier we ate pancakes , mmmmmm….. great! I was quite sad when we said goodbye… but I promised to visit them in France. Guys, Grenoble, Le Blanc and Paris are not so far away from Poland!!

master thesis

I’m going to see my supervisor proffesor. She supposes to give some comments to my papers so far. I’ll give her another chapter I’ve written recently. This will be the third one. Still one more! Now I have 64 pages !

Tomorrow I’m going to Warsaw!!! See you in a couple of days!
