What a mysterious band! They are called Hurts and beside the fact that they come from the UK (Manchester), I don’t know anything about them. It doesn’t really matter – let the music speak. Sound like new Pet Shop Boys, very haunting and catchy, yet still sophisticated and cool. When I listen to this song, I keep on having a flashback to the 80s music. That was my childhood… Oh, time flies and we’re getting older and older.
When they sing the words from the chorus "Don’t let go / Never give up, it’s such a wonderful life", I believe them.
Cliché? Possibly, but so pretty and addictive.

There’s a magical place near my home. Everynight the beautiful lights lighten up the darkness. Few people are aware that this place even exists. Maybe that’s better.

Have you heard of Gorillaz – the world’s most popular cartoon band? No? Then catch up on a backlog as soon as possible. What a stylish sound! And take a look at them – they are so incredibly fashionable and cool.

They’ve been known in Western countries since 2001, when they recorded their first album "Gorillaz" (including hit singles "Clint Eastwood", "19-2000" and "Rock The House"). Then they released "Demon Days" in 2005 (with big hits "Feel Good Inc.", "Dare" and "Dirty Harry")… and this year they are back with new album called "Plastic Beach"! So exciting! Looking forward to it.

The spring of 2010 belongs to Gorillaz!

Green Day is one of the most popular rock bands in the world. Not in China? I believe they are also known here, although maybe not as much as they would like to… Their sound is great! I’d even say it’s "pure pop", only if it wasn’t so rock! Just listen to "Pacemaker" – non-single track from their last album "21st Century Breakdown". I’m sure you’ll feel the vibe! Rebelious and rocking, hit and tempting, addictive and happy!

Let "Peacemaker" take away the winter depression. The spring is coming and all I can say is: Green Day, thank you and you’re very welcome.

Ah, Jónsi. He is an incredibly talented singer coming from Iceland. He’s been known as a member of Sigur Rós, a band playing majestic and inspiring music; and now he’s trying to push his solo career. What’s the result? It’s great, it’s fresh, it’s still Jónsi, it’s happy! It makes me think of spring. I can dream… Just "say no more, use your eyes". I do get inspired by him.
