typhoon 海葵

For the couple of last days we’ve been getting reports of approaching typhoon called Haikui (海葵) – and here it is! It’s raining cats and dogs in Hangzhou at the moment, the wind has been pretty strong – I couldn’t sleep at night! Today’s classes at my school have been cancelled, so have tomorrow’s. And many companies here have decided to do the same – many people are having an extra day off. Well, since I came to China, this has been the strongest typhoon. Phew! Let’s just hope nobody will be “gone with the wind”.
